Originally, we were also planning to attend tomorrow’s Kids Run, the Kalākaua Parade, and the Nagaoka Fireworks, but unfortunately they were cancelled or postponed due to the weather. Still, the Convention Center is full of excitement, so if you’re in Honolulu, stop by tomorrow and enjoy the festival! This time again, the program will focus on the Fashion Designer Edition, where children will learn about the different roles and jobs involved in fashion design. From how an idea becomes a product, to how it reaches the store, and eventually the person who buys it. Kids will discover where, who, and what kinds of work are involved along the way, and learn that fashion design is not a job done alone — it requires teamwork with many different people.
