Executive Director of Touch A Heart, a Hawai‘i-based nonprofit that empowers and transforms individuals facing barriers to employment through foodservice training and social enterprises. Under her leadership, Touch A Heart continues to create pathways to sustainable living—guided by the belief that everyone has value, purpose, and the potential to make a difference in their community.

ハワイを拠点とする非営利団体 Touch A Heart（タッチ・ア・ハート） のエグゼクティブ・ディレクター。刑務所出所者、ホームレスの方、依存症からの回復を目指す方など、就労に困難を抱える人々に対し、フードサービスを通じた職業訓練や社会的企業の運営を行い、再出発の機会を提供している。 彼女のリーダーシップのもと、Touch A Heartは「すべての人に価値と目的があり、地域社会の中で輝ける場がある」という信念を胸に、持続可能な人生への道をともに築き続けている。
Mr. Akemi Kurokawa
“Be curious about everything and give it a try.”
Honorary Director of Prince Waikiki and former President of Seibu Inc. As a board member of the Japan-America Society of Hawaii (JASH) and Trustee of the Urasenke Foundation of Hawaii, he has devoted himself to promoting cultural exchange between Japan and the U.S., as well as the spread of the tea ceremony in Hawaii.
In the fall of 2023, he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, and was received by the Emperor at the Imperial Palace. His contributions to mutual understanding between Japan and the United States in Hawaii were highly recognized.
黒川曙美さん
「なんでも興味を持って、トライしてみて」
プリンス ワイキキ名誉役員、元西武インク社長。 ハワイ日米協会（JASH）理事や裏千家単光会ハワイ支部長として、ハワイにおける日米の文化交流と茶道普及に尽力。
2023年秋の「旭日双光章」を受章し、天皇陛下に拝謁。ハワイでの日米文化理解促進の功績が讃えられました。
