We are excited to welcome your child to the very first MIRAI Leaders session, presented by MIRAI HANA in collaboration with the Japan-America Society of Hawaiʻi (JASH)!
Our inaugural guest speaker will be Daniel Dinell, President of Trees for Honolulu’s Future.
Please review the following information carefully before the program.

Workshop Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Pick-up Time: 11:35 AM – 11:45 AM

Building: Pan Am Building
📍Drop-off & Pick-up Location
Please meet MIRAI HANA staff at the 1st-floor Pan Am Building parking garage entrance on Makaloa Street, shown in the photo right side.
The Pan Am Building is located directly across from Don Quijote.
Because the building has limited access on Sundays and the elevator requires key access, all students will enter the building together after check-in.
Please do not go directly to the JASH Office.
Please note that parking validation is not available.
This is a drop-off only program. Parent/guardian observation is not permitted.
✅ What to Bring & Important Notes
Please bring a water bottle.
MIRAI HANA will provide all worksheets and program materials.
Please have your child use the restroom before check-in whenever possible.
Students will participate in direct conversation with the guest speaker, small-group discussion, reflection activities, and a one-minute speech.
If someone other than the person listed on the registration form will be picking up your child, please let us know at check-in.

10:58–11:05 | THINK — Reflection & Speech Preparation
11:05–11:20 | SPEAK — One-Minute Speeches
11:20–11:30 | LEAD — Leadership Revisited / Dan’s Final Message / Closing
11:35 – 11:45 | Pick-up

Students will begin the session by thinking about:
“What does leadership mean to you?”
At the end, they will return to the same question:
“What does leadership mean to you NOW?”
📷 Photos & One-Minute Speech Video
Photos taken during the session will be shared after the program with families who selected “Yes” for photo/video permission on the registration form.
A Google Drive album will be sent to the email address used during registration.
Each student’s one-minute speech will also be video recorded and shared privately with the participant and their family.

第1回ゲストスピーカーには、Trees for Honolulu’s Future PresidentのDaniel Dinellさんをお迎えします。
当日に向けて、以下の内容を必ずご確認ください。

写真右側にある、Makaloa Street沿いのPan Am Building 1階・駐車場入口付近でMIRAI HANAスタッフと集合してください。
Pan Am Buildingは、Don Quijoteの向かい側にあります。
日曜日は建物へのアクセスが制限されており、エレベーターの利用にキーが必要なため、チェックイン後、参加者全員で一緒に建物へ入ります。
JASH Officeへ直接向かわないようお願いいたします。
※駐車場のValidationはありません。
本プログラムはDrop-off onlyです。保護者の見学はできません。
✅ 持ち物と注意事項
水筒をご持参ください。
ワークシートやプログラムで使用するものは、MIRAI HANAで準備します。
可能であれば、チェックイン前にお手洗いをお済ませください。
ゲストスピーカーとの直接の対話、少人数でのディスカッション、振り返り、1分間スピーチなどを行います。
登録フォームに記載された方以外がお迎えに来られる場合は、チェックイン時にスタッフへお知らせください。

駐車場は、カラカウア通りの公園側にある有料ストリートパーキングをご利用いただけます。

を考えます。
そして最後に、もう一度、
「今、あなたにとってLeadershipとは？」
を考えます。
📷 写真・1分間スピーチ動画について
プログラム中に撮影した写真は、登録フォームで写真・動画の撮影／使用に「Yes」を選択されたご家庭へ、開催後に共有予定です。
お申し込み時にご登録いただいたメールアドレス宛に、Google Driveアルバムをお送りします。
また、各参加者の1分間スピーチを動画撮影し、参加者とご家族へ個別に共有します。
