MIRAI HANA Kids Job Experience Workshop – Ranch & Animal Care Edition
Monday, October 5, 2026 – Fall Break
We are excited to welcome you to the MIRAI HANA Kids Job Experience Workshop – Ranch & Animal Care Edition in collaboration with Kualoa Ranch Education Center!
This special workshop will give children an immersive look at animal care and aquaculture at Kualoa Ranch, including animal feeding, grooming and care, and an aquaculture demonstration.
Please review the following information carefully before the workshop.
📅 Date & Venue
Date: Monday, October 5, 2026
Check‑in Time: 9:40 AM – 10:00 AM
Workshop Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pick-up Time: 11:55 AM – 12:10 PM
Venue: Kualoa Ranch Education Center (49-139 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744)
🚗 Parking & Directions
Please search “Kualoa Ranch Education Center” in Google Maps.
The Google Maps pin may appear closer to the middle of the property, but when arriving from Kamehameha Hwy, you can enter directly from the highway and reach the parking area right away.
Landmark: When you see Yummy Huli Huli Chicken on your left, the entrance to the Education Center is just ahead on the right. Turn right into the driveway and continue to the parking area.
Please refer to the photo on the right for the entrance and parking area.
✅ What to Bring & Important Notes
Please bring a water bottle for your child.
Please have your child wear closed-toe shoes. Closed-toe shoes are required for participation.
Sunscreen and insect repellent are highly recommended.
Please have your child wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities and animal interaction.
Children may have close interaction with animals such as goats, sheep, ponies, and other ranch animals
Whenever possible, please have your child use the restroom before check-in.
If someone other than the person listed on the registration form will be picking up your child, please let us know at check-in.
Kualoa Ranch’s waiver also notes that activity areas may include uneven, rocky, muddy, or slippery terrain, and specifically requires closed-toe shoes. Water, sunscreen, and insect repellent are recommended.
👨👩👧 Parent/Guardian Information
This is primarily a drop-off program.
Parents/guardians are welcome to wait inside the Keiki Learning Center during the workshop.

🍱 After the Workshop
Families who would like to stay after the workshop are welcome to use the available tables and picnic area.
Please bring your own food and drinks, as food and drinks are not sold at the venue.
Please note that any time spent at the venue after the workshop ends is not part of the MIRAI HANA or Kualoa Ranch program, and parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their own children.

A Google Drive album will be sent to the email address used during registration.

このたびは、クアロアランチ教育センター × MIRAI HANAによる
Kids Job Experience Workshop – Ranch & Animal Care Edition にご参加いただきありがとうございます！
今回は、クアロアランチで行われている動物のお世話や養殖に関わる仕事について、エサやり、グルーミング、動物ケア、Aquaculture Demonstrationなどを通して学ぶ特別プログラムです。
当日に向けて、以下の内容をご確認ください。

お迎え: 11:55 AM – 12:10 PM

🚗 駐車場・アクセス
Google Mapsでは 「Kualoa Ranch Education Center」 と検索してください。
Google Maps上では敷地の中央付近にピンが表示される場合がありますが、Kamehameha Hwyから直接入口に入ると、すぐ駐車場に到着します。
目印は Yummy Huli Huli Chicken です。
左手にYummy Huli Huli Chickenが見えたら、そのすぐ先を右折してEducation Centerの入口へお入りください。
入口と駐車場については、右の写真をご参照ください。
✅ 持ち物と注意事項
水筒をご持参ください。
つま先の隠れる靴（closed-toe shoes）を必ず着用してください。 参加には必須です。
日焼け止め・虫よけの使用を強くおすすめします。
屋外での活動や動物とのふれあいに適した、動きやすい服装でご参加ください。
可能であれば、チェックイン前にお手洗いをお済ませください。
登録フォームに記載された方以外がお迎えに来られる場合は、チェックイン時に必ずお知らせください。
本ワークショップはドロップオフ制です。保護者の方は、指定時間に送迎をお願いいたします。
Kualoa RanchのWaiverにも、活動場所には凹凸や岩場、ぬかるみ、滑りやすい場所がある場合があること、closed-toe shoesが必須であることが記載されています。水筒、日焼け止め、虫よけの持参も推奨されています。

基本的にはドロップオフ形式です。
保護者の方は、ワークショップ中、Keiki Learning Center室内でお待ちいただくことも可能です。

🍱 ワークショップ終了後について
ワークショップ終了後、ご希望のご家族は会場のテーブルやピクニックエリアを利用してお過ごしいただけます。会場では食事や飲み物の販売はありませんので、滞在される場合は各自でご持参ください。
なお、ワークショップ終了後の時間はMIRAI HANAおよびKualoa Ranchのプログラムには含まれません。終了後は、各ご家庭でお子さまの見守りをお願いいたします。
