MIRAI HANA Workshop on Sun, August 9, 2026

We are excited to announce the 22nd MIRAI HANA workshop! All participants, please review the following details carefully.

📅 Date & Venue

  • Date: Sunday, August 9, 2026

  • Check‑in Time: 9:40 AM – 10:00 AM (at Design Studio)

  • Workshop Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Pick-up Time: 11:50 AM – 12:05 PM (at Ten Tomorrow shop)

  • Venue:

    Design Studio: 1123 11th Ave #304, Honolulu, HI 96816 (Check-in)

    Ten Tomorrow shop: 1114 11th Ave, Honolulu, HI 96816 (Pick-up)

    *Parents: Drop-off at the Design Studio and pick-up at Ten Tomorrow.

✅ What to Bring & Important Notes

  • Please bring a water bottle.

  • Since children will be designing fashion sketches, MIRAI HANA will provide the materials, but they are welcome to bring their favorite colors if they’d like.

  • We’ll provide a name sticker, work notebook, clipboard, and pen at check-in. A MIRAI HANA shirt may be provided/used during activities.

  • Please have your child use the restroom beforehand if possible. (There is a restroom available in the building.)

  • If someone other than the person you listed on the registration form will pick up your child, please inform us at check-in.

  • This workshop is drop-off only.

  • Parking:
    You can use the public parking lot in behind the building (no validation available).

📋 Schedule (subject to slight changes on the day)

  • 9:40 – 10:00 Check-in at Design Studio

  • 10:00 – 10:10 Opening

  • 10:10 – 10:20 Meet Summer & the Team; Introduction to the Designer’s Work

  • 10:20 – 11:20 Activity 1 (Design Studio):
    Croquis Sketching, Aloha Print Ideation, Fabric Selection & Cutting, Sewing Demo

    Participants are welcome to bring their favorite colored pencils or pens.

  • 11:20 – 11:40 Activity 2 (Ten Tomorrow Shop):
    Studio Tour, Q&A, Design & Fabric Exploration

  • 11:40 – 12:00 Closing, Group Photo & Giveaway

📌 Pick-up: Please pick up your child between 11:50 AM – 12:05 PM

📷 Data Sharing

Photos taken during the workshop will be shared within 3 days after the workshop.

Photo data will be sent to the email address provided at the time of registration via a Google Drive album.

This applies only to families who selected “Yes” for photo and video media usage on the registration form.

保護者さま：お子さまのドロップオフはDesign Studio、ピックアップはTen Tomorrow店舗でお願いします。

✅ 当日の持ち物・お願い

  • お持ち物は水筒のみで大丈夫です。

  • ファッションスケッチを描くための道具はこちらでご用意しますが、お子さまが好きな色があればぜひお持ちください。

  • 可能であれば、事前にお手洗いをお済ませください。（お手洗いはビル内にございます。）

  • お迎えの方が受付時と異なる場合は、受付時にスタッフまでお知らせください。

  • 駐車場について
    建物横の公共駐車場をご利用いただけます（無料駐車券はありません）。

  • 9:40 – 10:00　受付（Design Studio）

  • 10:00 – 10:10　オープニング

  • 10:10 – 10:20　サマーさんの紹介／デザイナーの仕事について学ぶ

  • 10:20 – 11:20　アクティビティ①（Design Studio）：
    クロッキー、アロハシャツのデザイン考案、生地選び、制作デモ

  • 11:20 – 11:40　アクティビティ②（Ten Tomorrow 店舗）：
    ツアー、Q&A、デザイン・生地のミニ体験

  • 11:40 – 12:00　クロージング、集合写真、プレゼントのお渡し

  • お迎え時間：11:50～12:05の間にお子さまをお迎えください。

📷 データ共有について

ワークショップ中の写真は終了後3日以内に、申込時のメールアドレスへ写真データを送付します。申込フォームでメディア使用「可」とされた方が対象です。（Googleドライブのアルバムで共有予定です）
