MIRAI HANA Workshop on Sun, Dec 21, 2025

We are excited to announce the 11st MIRAI HANA workshop! All participants, please review the following details carefully.

📅 Date & Venue

  • Date: Sunday, December 21, 2025

  • Check‑in Time: 9:40 AM – 10:00 AM

  • Workshop Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Pick-up Time: 11:45 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Venue:  Kodama Koi Farm

✅ What to Bring & Important Notes

  • Kodama Koi Farm is located inside the Mililani Agricultural Park, within a special, restricted-access property.
    At the park entrance, staff will confirm all visitors before allowing entry.

    Inside the park, there is a strict 15 mph speed limit to protect the surrounding vegetation.
    (We were told that exceeding the limit more than twice may result in being banned from the park.)
    It takes about 10 minutes to drive from the entrance to Koi Farm, so please allow extra time when arriving.

  • Please bring a water bottle for your child.

  • Whenever possible, have your child use the restroom before the workshop begins. (Although restrooms are available, they are portable toilets, as shown in Photo #6.)

  • If someone other than the person listed on the registration form will be picking up your child, please inform us at check-in.

  • This workshop is a drop-off program, so we kindly ask parents to participate in “drop-off and pick-up only.”
    You are welcome to wait in the office if needed; however, to help children stay focused, we ask that you wait rather than observe the activities.

    🅿️ Parking
    You may use the public parking lot behind the building.

    👟 Footwear
    The farm grounds are uneven, so closed-toe athletic shoes are required for all children.

  • 9:40 – 10:00 Check-in (Indoor)

  • 10:00 – 10:10 Opening (Indoor)

  • 10:10 – 10:25 Learn about the work of Koi Farm (Indoor)

  • 10:25 – 10:55 Activity ①: Koi Farm Tour & Feeding Experience (Outdoor)

  • 10:55 – 11:30 Activity ②: Koinobori Craft (Indoor)

  • 11:30 – 11:50 Activity ③: Koinobori Raising & Group Photo (Outdoor)

  • 11:50 – 12:00 Closing (Indoor)

    📌 Pick-up Time: Please pick up your child between 11:45 AM and 12:00 PM.

📷 Data Sharing

  • Within 3 days after the workshop, we will send event photos to the email address you provided at registration. If you opted in to media usage, you will receive these photos. If you’d like to change your media-use permission or use a different email, please let us know at check-in. (We plan to share via a Google Drive album.)

📅 開催日・会場

  • 日付: 2025年12月21日（日）

✅ 持ち物と注意事項

  • Koi Koi Farm は Mililani Agricultural Park 内にあり、制限付きエリア（限られた人のみが入れる区域）に位置しています。パーク入口では、スタッフが訪問者名簿を確認したうえで入場許可を出します。パーク内は周辺の植物を守るため、時速15マイルの厳格なスピード制限があります。（制限を2回以上超えると、出入り禁止になる可能性があるとのことです。）
    入口からKoi Farm までは車で約10分かかるため、少し余裕を持ってお越しください。

  • お子さま用の飲み物（水筒）をご持参ください。

  • ワークショップ開始前に、できるだけお手洗いを済ませておいてください。
    （会場にもトイレはありますが、写真6のような簡易トイレ（ポータブルトイレ）になります。）

  • お迎えの方が申込フォームに記載の保護者と異なる場合は、チェックイン時に必ずお知らせください。

  • 本ワークショップはドロップオフ形式のため、基本的には保護者の皆さまには「送迎のみ」をお願いしております。
    オフィスでお待ちいただくことも可能ですが、お子さまたちの集中を守るため、見学ではなく“待機”という形でのご協力をお願いできますと幸いです。

    🅿️ 駐車場
    建物の裏にある駐車場をご利用いただけます。

    👟 服装（靴）
    農場内は地面が不安定な場所も多いため、つま先が覆われた運動靴（スニーカー）を必ず着用してください。

📋 当日のスケジュール（多少変更の可能性あり）

  • 9:40～10:00　チェックイン（室内）

  • 10:00～10:10　オープニング（室内）

  • 10:10～10:25　コイファームのお仕事について学ぶ（室内）

  • 10:25～10:55　アクティビティ①：コイファーム見学＆餌やり体験（屋外）

  • 10:55～11:30　アクティビティ②：こいのぼり制作（室内）

  • 11:30～11:50　アクティビティ③：こいのぼり掲揚＆記念撮影（屋外）

  • 11:50～12:00　クロージング（室内）

  • 📌 お迎え時間
    11:45～12:00 PM の間にお迎えをお願いします。

📷 データ共有について

ワークショップ終了後3日以内に、申込時のメールアドレスへ写真データを送付します。申込フォームでメディア使用「可」とされた方が対象です。変更や別のメールアドレスでの受け取りをご希望の場合は、当日受付でお知らせください。（Googleドライブのアルバムで共有予定です）
